AXL is Château Copsa’s focused interpretation of Karlovski Misket, a local grape closely associated with the Rose Valley. Selected vineyard rows lie between the Balkan Mountains and Sredna Gora. Cool fermentation and contact with the fine lees preserve the floral landscape of the valley and the freshness brought by the surrounding mountains.
Tasting
Bright pale lemon colour with delicate green highlights. Pronounced aromas of white flowers, lemon zest, geranium leaf and fresh mountain herbs. Light and airy on the palate, with vibrant acidity, excellent balance and a clean, persistent citrus-and-herbal finish.
At the table
Sushi, grilled fish, seafood, fresh salads, soft cheeses, light vegetable dishes and Bulgarian banitsa.
