Château Copsa
Since 1998

Château Copsa is a family-owned estate in the heart of the Rose Valley. Its vineyards lie between the southern slopes of the Balkan Mountains and Sredna Gora. Limestone-rich, gravelly soils, warm days and cool mountain air are especially favourable for aromatic white grapes, including Karlovski Misket.
History
Minko Minkov founded Château Copsa in 1998, continuing the winemaking legacy of his father, Ivan Minkov. The family began by restoring old Misket vineyards and establishing new plantings on carefully selected sites. A modern production facility followed in 2005 and the château with its underground barrel cellar opened in 2008.
