Tamyanka

2023 · White · Thracian Valley · Bulgaria

Edoardo Miroglio
Tamyanka 2023

Why this wine belongs

The most immediately Bulgarian white in the archive: intensely perfumed, yet finished bone dry.

Tamyanka is Bulgaria's branch of the muscat family, grown here on the Elenovo hills where cool nights hold the aromatics in place.

Tasting

Orange blossom, white peach and a dusting of muscat spice, with a dry, almost saline finish that keeps the perfume in check.

At the table

Goat cheese, grilled vegetables, Thai herbs and lemon.
